Refund Policy

By registering for this Human Powered Event I acknowledge the following: 

No refunds will be provided under any circumstances except when expressly stated otherwise.

Although some participants may not realize it, the majority of expenses for organizing a sporting event are incurred before the actual event takes place. For this reason, issuing refunds would place the event in an adverse financial position. By registering for the event, you are agreeing to the risk that if you are unable to attend the event, or if the event is cancelled, you are not entitled to a refund unless otherwise stated. 

All entries are Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable to another person, and Non-Deferrable to a future event unless otherwise stated. – Sale and/or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited.

A participant with an injury or illness is not eligible for a refund, transfer or a deferral entry to a future event.

If the event cannot take place due to a public health order, the participant will have the following options: 

– Free entry deferral to the follow year event 

If the event is postponed to a future date the participant will have the following options: 

–  Free entry in the newly scheduled event date OR free entry in the following year event 

If the participant is from outside of Canada, and is not allowed to travel to Canada as per an order in place by the Canadian federal government the participant will have the following options: 

– Free entry deferral to the following year event
