Q – Is the bike portion draft legal? A – No, this is a non-drafting race and there will be time penalties if you are caught drafting.

Q – Are aerobars allowed on the bike? A – Aerobars are not allowed for safety reasons. The only exception are bars designed for gravel cycling with an integrated aerobar that is part of the base bar and does not extend past the brake hoods. No clip ons or cow horn style aerobars.

Q – Do the bike or run courses follow any single track trails? A – No. Both the bike and Run courses are primarily on gravel forest service roads. There is no single track.

Q- Will wetsuits be allowed for the swim? A- The decision on wetsuits is made on race morning by the head official following a check of the lake temperature. Having said that we anticipate that the race will be wetsuit legal.
